The passing of Rex has brought sadness and left the family mourning and agonizing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of Rex. “It is with huge sorrow to announce the passing of Rex Blackwell.
Rex was a very big part of the Hunterville Rugby Football Club, he was always behind the scenes taking time out of his weekends to help in the kitchen and around the club.
Huge condolences to all of Rex’s family, he will be missed immensely.
He will be resting at the Hunterville Rugby Clubrooms from Thursday 29th midday until Friday morning. Following this Rex’s funeral will be held at Beauchamp Funeral Home Marton on Friday 30th, time is yet to be advised.”

Rex Mayer Obituary- Rex Mayer of Blackwell, Oklahoma passed away on March 2, 2022, at his home at the age of 63 years following a battle with cancer. Rex Alan Mayer was born on October 27, 1958, in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Lawrence W. Mayer and Mary K. (Rogers) Mayer. He was raised on the family farm East of Blackwell, attending Lost Creek and Peckham Rural Schools. He attended junior high and high school in Blackwell, graduating in 1976. He was involved with 4-H and FFA, and attended Pioneer Vo-Tech. Following high school, he engaged in family farming and later worked at ACME Foundry, Electron, A-1 Heating & Air as a journeyman, and Sooner State Pattern Works.
