Christopher Lucas dead and obituary, political communication – At Washington University in St. Louis, I have faculty positions in the Department of Computational and Data Science and the Department of Political Science as an assistant professor. I research media, political communication, and methodology. Among other journals, the American Political Science Review and the American Journal of Political Science have published my research. I also twice received the Gosnell Award for Excellence in Political Method. Numerous awards from the National Science Foundation help to fund ongoing work.
I completed a degree in Medicine and a BSc (Hons) in Physiology at the University of Edinburgh. I then completed a Wellcome Trust-funded PhD at the MRC Inflammation Research Centre under the Edinburgh Clinical Academic Tracker (ECAT) project, under the supervision of Professors Adriano Rossi and Chris Haslett investigating immune cell apoptosis in the resolution of infection-associated pneumonia role in. I then completed clinical training in Respiratory Medicine and am currently a Wellcome Trust Clinical Career Development Fellow investigating immune cell-driven pulmonary epithelial repair following acute injury.
