Bambi Abbott Obituary Delray Beach, FL, Bambi Abbott sadly passed away at 38, Death, Exited

Bambi Abbott Obituary – CHARLESTON, South Carolina – Bambi Jane Abbott of Rockford, Illinois, a resident of Delray Beach, Florida died unexpectedly at the age of 38, according to her obituary. Bambi Abbott left the world for eternal rest on Sunday, September 11, 2022. Bambi was born to Beatrice Gertrude Abbott and Maurice “Bud” Edward Abbott in Washington D.C. on January 19, 1984.

With four brothers, she grew up surviving their life training that included constant teasing and regularly being on the losing end of their wrestling matches. Like her brothers, she grew up playing sports and while her athletic ability didn’t stand out, her mom made sure she did with ribbons and pigtails in soccer and a Minnie Mouse swimsuit and Ultimate Warrior face paint for summer swim team.

In 1991, Bambi moved with her family to Rockford, IL where she would go on to graduate Guilford High School (Class of 2002). There she participated in Varsity Poms, Synchronized Swimming, and made lifelong friends that she would still talk to daily.

She would go on to attend Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL, studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland where she also traveled to Barcelona and Paris, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Wilmington University.

After college, she remained in Florida and began her professional career in sales, learning skills along the way which carried her to her most recent position of National Account Manager with Integrity Logistics Express of South Carolina.

Bambi loved the challenge of her job, was consistently a top producer in sales, and easily held her own with the choice language from angry truckers she encountered every day.

Bambi was a loving daughter, sister, and friend to all as she was the glue that held everyone together. One of her greatest joys was being a fur momma to her two beloved babies, Brixy and (the late, mean) Bitsy. It was a rare occasion to see Bambi without her Brixy right by her side.

Sometimes even sporting a tutu or bikini that Bambi had decided to dress her up in that day. She was a self-proclaimed dog expert happy to share her wisdom with any pet owners doing it wrong.

Holidays were Bambi’s most beloved time of year. Her love for Halloween began early in life when Beatrice would forgo the traditional Halloween costumes for a child and instead dress Bambi as Madonna or Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.

As she got older, Bambi continued to look forward to Halloween and putting her makeup skills to the test as a zombie, plastic surgeon patient, and even as Bambi the Deer. Christmas was also a cherished time of year for her where all of her favorite things would come together; family, friends, and Christmas movies.

Bambi was drawn to the beach choosing to swap the snow and cold of the Midwest for the warm sandy beaches of the East Coast. She loved long walks with Brixy, going for runs, 80’s movies, puzzles, a good tan, spending time with friends, and prepping food in the kitchen for both her and her loved ones.

Her ability to make everyone feel so important and loved never went unnoticed by her family, best friends, and their children. She always showed up with gifts for her loved ones and all her nieces and nephews looked forward to Aunt Bambi’s arrivals.

Her warm welcomes, loud laugh, and happy, bubbly personality were Bambi trademarks. Her physical presence may be gone, but her spirit, sense of humor, and all the stories we have of her will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved Bambi.

Survivors include her mother, Beatrice Abbott of Chicago, IL; sister Pam Healy of Mechanicsburg, PA; brothers, Brigham Abbott of Braselton, GA, Brett Abbott, Banum Abbott, and Barrett Abbott of Chicago, IL; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her father, grandfathers, grandmothers and precious cat, Bitsy.

In addition to being mother/ daughter, Bambi and Beatrice were also best friends. They shared an incredible bond, and you always knew when they were together as the laughter from their good times could be heard throughout.

Aside from talking on the phone for hours catching up on each other’s adventures, they treasured when visits or trips would bring them together again for more wonderful moments with the mandatory outing of shopping and dinner.

Bambi loved her mother with all her heart and held dear to her the memories they made together.

Burial arrangements have been made by the immediate family. Bambi will be laid to rest with her grandmother and family at 10:30am on October 8th at: St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (Cemetery is directly in front of the Church) 430 Valley Brook Rd Glen Mills/Chester Heights, PA, 19342
